VP, Strategist

Role overview Lead strategy for complex client engagements involving AI and digital transformation, from early opportunity discovery through delivery and scale planning. As the senior strategy voice on cross-functional teams, you will work with client executives to set direction, align business and technical stakeholders, and connect recommendations to measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities - Shape AI and digital strategy, prioritizing opportunities and building roadmaps from discovery through scale. - Lead complex engagements and workshops, aligning executive, operational, and technical stakeholders. - Develop and present executive-level business cases that quantify value, explain tradeoffs, and recommend practical next steps. - Define evaluation approaches for AI systems, as well as governance frameworks suited to client risks and regulatory settings. - Build reusable strategy resources, such as playbooks, evaluation templates, reference architectures, and agent patterns. - Mentor strategists and analysts, establish delivery practices, and contribute to proposals and practice development.

Requirements - Significant experience leading strategy engagements and advising senior client stakeholders through ambiguous, complex problems. - Ability to communicate recommendations and tradeoffs clearly to executive audiences and build trusted client relationships. - Experience aligning cross-functional teams and guiding work from discovery into delivery. - Strong business judgment, including the ability to assess opportunities, quantify value, and make pragmatic recommendations. - A hands-on, adaptable approach to learning and problem solving, with a high standard for craft and ownership.

Nice to have - Experience with AI strategy, evaluation methods, responsible AI, or governance in regulated or risk-sensitive settings. - Familiarity with prototyping agent workflows or conversational experiences and with tools or frameworks such as Claude, Cursor, Figma AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Vercel AI SDK, or AWS Strands.

Benefits and work setup - Posted salary range: $180,000–$210,000 USD. - Eligible employees may receive paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, and a 401(k).
