Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Role overview This senior engineering role focuses on designing and evolving the backend systems behind a large-scale logistics and crowdsourced delivery platform. The position centers on building core services that handle high throughput, complex routing, and reliability demands across a nationwide network. The work blends hands-on coding with architectural decision-making in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities - Design, build, and maintain core services and infrastructure powering the logistics platform - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure reliability and scalability - Partner with Product, Data Science, and other engineering teams to deliver impactful features - Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and the continuous improvement of engineering best practices - Take ownership of projects from concept through production, balancing delivery speed with quality - Stay current with new technologies and propose improvements to existing systems

Requirements - 6+ years of professional software development experience - Solid understanding of service-oriented architecture, distributed systems, and API design - Proficiency in Golang or Ruby - Experience working with or migrating from a monolithic architecture - Strong problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
