Role overview A remote, paid summer 2027 internship for software engineers passionate about games. Interns collaborate with developers to build player-facing features, back-end services, and shared platforms that power live titles at global scale, with placement matched to interests and team availability.
Responsibilities - Collaborate with developers to create player-facing features for live games. - Build back-end services that let games use shared social, client, and platform features. - Write code to process real-time data across multiple game teams. - Learn to operate services at a global scale. - Build and maintain SDKs and APIs used by internal game customers.
Requirements - Graduating in the 2028 calendar year. - Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Engineering, or Technology degree program. - Coding experience in an object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#. - Knowledge of data structures and algorithms. - Minimum GPA of 2.5. - Available for full-time hours across the 12-week internship duration.
Nice to have - Prior software developer experience through internships or part-time roles. - Familiarity with SDLC, agile development, unit/integration testing, and CI/CD. - A portfolio or GitHub link showcasing original projects. - Experience working on a video game project, particularly in Unity or Unreal Engine.
