IT/OT Integration Engineer

Role overview Own customer integrations that bring operational data from industrial environments into software systems. This hands-on, customer-facing role combines industrial automation, OT networking, and software, from initial discovery through deployment and ongoing reliability.

Responsibilities - Lead integration work from understanding a customer’s environment to deployment and continued support. - Connect to data sources such as SCADA systems, PLCs, historians, databases, and other industrial systems. - Design secure and reliable approaches for moving operational data through existing OT architectures. - Configure and troubleshoot protocols including OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, and EtherNet/IP. - Diagnose network issues involving TCP/IP, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and segmented OT networks. - Work with controls, plant IT, and operations teams; build tools to collect, transform, validate, and transfer data.

Requirements - At least four years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, SCADA, controls, or OT systems. - Understanding of industrial system architectures and how operational data is produced and accessed. - Practical troubleshooting skills across industrial protocols and networks. - Ability to take ownership of technical problems and drive them through resolution. - Comfort working directly with customers and coordinating with technical stakeholders.

Nice to have - Experience with platforms such as Ignition, AVEVA/Wonderware, FactoryTalk, WinCC, or PI. - Familiarity with Python, SQL, APIs, and databases for connecting industrial systems.
