Role overview

The role sits on a small senior engineering team building an enterprise loan lifecycle platform for reverse mortgage lenders. Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain core product features that span the full loan lifecycle, from origination through post-closing - Work across the stack alongside a small, senior team, contributing to both frontend and backend systems - Pick up unfamiliar problems quickly and bring care to details in a regulated lending environment - Help reduce handoff gaps by building tooling that keeps conditions, documents, and ownership visible in a single queue - Connect APIs, identity services, data, and third-party integrations into a unified loan record - Take ownership of specific product areas and follow through on long-term improvements

Requirements

- Comfort working across the full stack, including frontend and backend development - Ability to learn and operate effectively in a regulated domain, with attention to compliance and audit needs - Strong engineering fundamentals and product sense - Authorization to work in the United States - Willingness to take ownership and ship independently

Nice to have

- Experience with loan origination, mortgage technology, or financial services platforms - Familiarity with credit, underwriting, closing, or post-closing workflows - Comfort working in small teams with high autonomy and direct product ownership
