Role overview
Deliver Salesforce Marketing Cloud development for enterprise-level customer engagement programmes on a contract basis. The work covers journey design, campaign development, automation, data modelling, personalisation, CRM integration, performance optimisation, and compliance, with hybrid or remote working available from Portugal.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise multi-channel customer journeys using Journey Builder. - Develop and manage Email Studio campaigns, including triggered sends, A/B tests, and delivery optimisation. - Create and maintain Automation Studio workflows for data processing and campaign execution. - Build dynamic, reusable email templates in Content Builder using AMPscript and/or SSJS for personalisation. - Use Contact Builder to structure data models and create audience segments. - Support Marketing Cloud Connect configuration and data synchronisation with Salesforce CRM. - Monitor campaign performance, use reporting to identify improvements, and maintain GDPR, consent, and email best-practice compliance.
Requirements
- Professional experience developing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. - Practical knowledge of Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and Contact Builder. - Ability to write AMPscript and/or SSJS for personalised, data-driven communications. - Experience supporting Marketing Cloud Connect and Salesforce CRM data synchronisation. - Understanding of campaign reporting, optimisation, GDPR, consent management, and responsible email delivery.
