About this role
Role overview Build and operate the cloud platform, infrastructure, and internal tools that help engineering teams deploy and run services reliably, securely, and at scale. The role combines hands-on AWS infrastructure work with automation, operational readiness, and collaboration across engineering teams.
Responsibilities - Design, operate, and improve scalable cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS, with attention to reliability, performance, and security. - Automate operational tasks and create self-service workflows for common infrastructure needs. - Establish shared platform patterns that make service development, deployment, and operation more consistent. - Improve observability and reliability, take part in incident response, and turn incidents into durable fixes. - Work with product engineers to solve infrastructure problems and build reusable platform capabilities.
Requirements - At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering. - Strong experience managing production infrastructure as code, using tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or Pulumi. - Working knowledge of AWS and distributed systems infrastructure, including queues, workers, databases, caching, networking, and load balancing.
Nice to have - Experience operating high-throughput systems or building internal platforms, developer tooling, or self-service infrastructure. - Background with developer tools, public APIs, or email infrastructure. - Deep experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Go, and PostgreSQL.
