Senior .NET Engineer

Role overview A senior backend role for an engineer who can own a domain end to end within a small, technically capable team. The work focuses on designing and shipping production-grade .NET services, APIs, and integrations for client environments, with a strong emphasis on autonomy and clear technical writing.

Responsibilities - Design and build .NET Web APIs and backend services that meet production reliability standards. - Contribute to cloud infrastructure and deployment decisions on Azure or AWS. - Model relational data and optimise queries for performance and correctness. - Build integrations with third-party systems and external APIs. - Produce technical documentation and make architecture decisions that shape the service.

Requirements - Strong .NET and C# experience with production deployments. - Solid API design fundamentals, including REST conventions, versioning, and error handling. - Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL. - Cloud experience, with Azure preferred. - Clear written communication and the ability to work independently across time zones.

Nice to have - Experience with containerisation using Docker or Kubernetes. - CI/CD pipeline experience with tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. - Prior consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
