Platform Engineer

Role overview A platform engineering role focused on designing and building internal platforms, developer tooling, and infrastructure systems that underpin client environments. The work emphasizes improving reliability, automation, and scalability across the systems the team supports.

Responsibilities - Design platform architecture that supports reliable, scalable internal services. - Implement infrastructure as code to make environments reproducible and auditable. - Build internal tooling and automation that reduces friction for engineering and operations teams. - Improve deployment pipelines to make releases faster, safer, and more repeatable. - Monitor and optimise system performance, turning telemetry into actionable improvements.

Requirements - Hands-on experience with a major cloud platform such as Azure or AWS. - Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or comparable alternatives. - Comfort with automation tooling for provisioning, configuration, and operations. - Solid understanding of distributed systems and their operational characteristics.

Nice to have - Experience with Kubernetes or other container platforms. - Familiarity with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. - Exposure to monitoring and observability platforms.
