Full Stack Engineer (APAC)

Role overview Build and maintain a workforce management web platform as part of a cross-functional product squad. The role spans front-end and back-end implementation, from shaping features with product and design colleagues through rollout, in a remote team collaborating across Asia and Europe.

Responsibilities - Develop user-facing applications with React and TypeScript, and back-end services with Java or Python. - Design and maintain scalable APIs, and work with REST and GraphQL integrations. - Contribute across the implementation cycle, including planning, technical discussions, testing, and rollout. - Write unit and integration tests to support reliable changes. - Use AI coding assistants as part of development, reviewing and validating their output. - Collaborate with engineers and product partners on features and contribute to architecture discussions.

Requirements - At least three years of experience developing web applications across front-end and back-end systems. - Practical experience with React and TypeScript. - Experience with Java and Spring Boot, or Python and a related back-end framework. - Experience building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs. - Good understanding of CSS and user interface development practices. - Clear written communication and dependable asynchronous collaboration in a remote environment.

Nice to have - Familiarity with AI coding assistants and test-driven development. - Experience building a SaaS or other custom software product, particularly in B2B, financial technology, or HR technology. - Knowledge of security and performance practices, plus a self-directed approach to learning and seeking feedback.
