Video & Content Producer
Job details
About this role
Role overview
This position turns traveler, host, creator, and influencer footage into engaging stories for social, paid media, CRM, web, and longer-form channels. You will combine hands-on shooting and editing with remote production direction, while owning a reusable creative asset pipeline and coordinating a small freelance production pool.
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit story-led videos such as trip recaps, testimonials, day-in-the-life pieces, and launch content. - Lead production for campaign assets, translating creator concepts into polished, on-brand deliverables. - Direct remote capture by preparing briefs, shot lists, and practical guidance for non-professional contributors, then shaping the returned footage into coherent narratives. - Improve user-generated content through stronger hooks, structure, pacing, and narrative arcs; travel occasionally when on-location capture is required. - Build and maintain a practical library of templates, motion assets, brand components, and reusable source material. - Manage the workflow from briefing through review and delivery, including freelance sourcing, quality control, deadline tracking, and early escalation of bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Three to five years of experience as a video editor, producer, content creator, or similar, supported by a storytelling-focused portfolio. - Strong capability in both filming and editing, with confidence directing real people rather than only working with existing footage. - Demonstrated experience directing remote video capture and turning contributor footage into finished stories. - Proficiency with Premiere Pro or Final Cut, plus working knowledge of Photoshop or Figma and basic motion graphics. - Experience briefing and managing freelance or contract creative talent while maintaining consistent quality. - Fluent written and spoken English, proactive communication, comfort with ambiguity, and availability for occasional travel.
Nice to have
- UGC or creator-led production experience in travel, hospitality, or community-focused work. - Spanish or Portuguese fluency. - Experience creating an asset or template library that other teams actively use. - Portfolio examples demonstrating narrative strength, not only visual polish.
Benefits and work setup
- Remote-first work with occasional travel for priority shoots and launches. - Collaboration with social, copy, brand, growth, and performance marketing partners.
