This contract opportunity is for an experienced frontend engineer who can combine strong implementation knowledge with rigorous written reasoning. The work involves evaluating frontend approaches, explaining architectural decisions, producing technical documentation, and contributing expert judgment to projects that use real-world engineering examples to improve AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze frontend engineering decisions and write clear rationales for technical approaches and architectural patterns. - Review code samples, component structures, and state-management designs, providing specific and actionable feedback. - Create technical documents such as RFCs, architecture decision records, design notes, and review commentary. - Explain performance, accessibility, and rendering topics in precise language for varied technical audiences. - Compare server-side, client-side, and static rendering strategies and communicate the relevant tradeoffs. - Participate in code-review simulations and technical discussions, converting complex analysis into constructive written guidance.
Requirements
- At least three years of professional frontend engineering experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React or a comparable framework, and modern HTML/CSS. - Strong understanding of component architecture, state-management patterns, and frontend performance optimization. - Demonstrated ability to write technically rigorous documentation, design proposals, architecture records, or code-review feedback. - Practical knowledge of accessibility and inclusive web-development practices. - Familiarity with server-side, client-side, and static-site rendering approaches. - Exceptional written English, including the ability to explain sophisticated technical subjects clearly and structurally.

- Experience at a leading technology organization or a strong academic institution. - Prior exposure to technical evaluation, developer education, or structured engineering feedback.
