Role overview

Evaluate and improve how AI systems handle statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quantitative reasoning. This contract role is suited to an experienced data scientist or quantitative professional who can create rigorous evaluation material, recognize flawed methodology, and explain technical issues in clear written language.

Responsibilities

- Review AI-generated answers to data science, statistics, machine learning, and quantitative problems. - Develop expert-level prompts, datasets, and reference solutions for model evaluation and training. - Detect statistical mistakes, invalid assumptions, weak methodology, and gaps in quantitative reasoning. - Assess whether analytical approaches are technically sound and appropriately justified. - Provide structured, actionable feedback that can improve model accuracy and reasoning quality. - Communicate complex statistical and technical concepts clearly in writing.

Requirements

- At least one year of professional experience as a data scientist or quantitative specialist in technology, finance, research, or a comparable environment. - Recent relevant experience, with at least part of the background gained within the past seven years. - Strong practical knowledge of statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quantitative analysis. - Ability to distinguish correct reasoning from subtle methodological or statistical errors. - Excellent written English and skill in explaining technical concepts precisely. - Undergraduate education from a recognized university in an English-speaking country. - Residence in an English-speaking country.
