Take end-to-end ownership of complex data engineering engagements, from architecture and platform design through reliable production delivery. The work combines hands-on development with customer-facing technical leadership, helping organizations turn data into practical business value across modern cloud and analytics environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver scalable data platforms, ELT solutions, pipelines, and data models. - Own technical delivery across customer environments, translating business needs into robust engineering work. - Apply modern architecture patterns such as lakehouse, medallion, or data mesh approaches where appropriate. - Build reliable operating practices around testing, CI/CD, observability, data quality, and infrastructure automation. - Collaborate with customer stakeholders and technical teams to shape solutions that can create measurable business impact. - Contribute to solution development and identify opportunities to extend the value of customer engagements.
Requirements
- Strong practical experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Microsoft-based platforms. - Proven ability to design and deliver large-scale ELT solutions and dependable data pipelines. - Solid data modeling experience, ranging from dimensional models to Data Vault 2.0. - Deep expertise in at least one major cloud environment—Azure, AWS, or GCP—including infrastructure as code such as Terraform. - Strong DataOps or DevOps capability covering deployment automation, testing, monitoring, and data quality management. - Fluent written and spoken Finnish, as well as English, for customer collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with data governance, metadata, lineage, and security. - Familiarity with real-time technologies such as Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Flink. - Experience supporting machine learning or generative AI platforms, including feature stores, vector databases, or retrieval-augmented generation. - Background with BI tools and semantic modeling. - End-to-end expertise in Snowflake and dbt, or experience delivering enterprise-scale Databricks solutions.

The role is based in Finland and supports permanent remote work within the country; relocation support is not provided.
