Role overview
Build and operate customer-facing onboarding and account-management software for business clients. You’ll own features across the development lifecycle, helping deliver secure, reliable experiences that support identity checks, compliance, account creation, and ongoing access. The role combines full-stack product engineering with practical use of AI-assisted development and LLM integrations.
Responsibilities - Design, implement, and deploy scalable applications in a cloud environment, translating product needs into robust software. - Build and improve interfaces and backend services in collaboration with product, design, and engineering colleagues. - Strengthen reliability through tests, operational metrics, debugging, incident follow-up, and observability improvements. - Keep the technology stack current and contribute to engineering quality and team practices. - Support hiring by helping review candidates and take part in interviews.
Requirements - At least six years of full-stack development experience, including ownership of business-critical systems. - Strong React and TypeScript skills, with experience using common state management, data-fetching, and UI styling tools in the React ecosystem. - Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript for API development; familiarity with event-driven or serverless systems. - Hands-on AWS experience, sound SQL and database-design skills with PostgreSQL or MySQL, and experience with an ORM such as TypeORM or Prisma. - Strong debugging and problem-solving judgment, clear communication, openness to feedback, and comfort taking ownership in a fast-moving environment. - Comfortable using AI coding assistants and familiar with LLM integration approaches such as MCP or retrieval-augmented generation.
Nice to have - Experience with fintech workflows such as KYC, compliance, onboarding, payments, cards, or crypto. - Work in a startup or high-growth setting, or experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS SAM. - Familiarity with Python, Go, or a Node.js framework such as NestJS.
