Industry AI Consultant

Role overview Turn sector-specific business workflows into practical opportunities for AI. You’ll research operational challenges, help teams assess where AI could add value, and shape industry-focused roadmaps and implementation briefs across areas such as healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, retail, travel, software, and professional services.

Responsibilities - Research operational problems and evaluate potential AI applications across priority sectors. - Develop industry research, application libraries, and clear briefs to guide implementation. - Support discovery workshops with knowledge of sector workflows and operating models. - Work with strategy and engineering colleagues to shape roadmaps for specific industries. - Track sector demand, regulatory conditions, and competitor activity.

Requirements - At least three years of experience in consulting, industry research, business analysis, operations, product strategy, or transformation. - Ability to learn how an industry operates and translate its workflows into potential AI use cases. - Strong writing, synthesis, and presentation skills. - Confidence working with business, data, product, and engineering stakeholders.

Nice to have - Experience in healthcare, financial services or insurance, manufacturing, retail, travel, software, or professional services. - Background creating market maps, business cases, or decision briefs. - Familiarity with implementing automation, analytics, AI, or workflow software.
