AI Product Engineer

Role overview Build AI-enabled software that turns workflow strategies into useful products, including web applications, copilots, internal tools, and workflow interfaces. You’ll integrate models and retrieval systems with the application services and operational controls needed to make these products usable in production.

Responsibilities - Develop AI-native applications, copilots, internal tools, and workflow interfaces. - Integrate LLMs, retrieval, analytics, APIs, authentication, and observability into production products. - Work with strategists, designers, and architects to translate workflow maps into software. - Add feedback loops, evaluation hooks, monitoring, and operational controls to user experiences. - Contribute reusable front-end and back-end patterns for AI workflow delivery.

Requirements - At least four years building production web applications with TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies. - Experience integrating APIs, databases, authentication, background jobs, and observability. - Working knowledge of LLM APIs, RAG patterns, agents, or AI product user experience. - Strong product judgment and comfort working with ambiguous requirements.

Nice to have - Experience with OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector databases, or streaming AI interfaces. - Background in B2B SaaS, dashboards, internal tools, or workflow products. - Strong instincts for testing, accessibility, and performance.
