Senior React Native Developer

Role overview A remote consulting team is hiring a senior React Native developer to build and maintain mobile applications shipped for clients. The work covers the full lifecycle, from feature development and native integrations through App Store and Play Store release, to keeping apps healthy after launch, and integrating with the same backends that power the web products.

Responsibilities - Build features end to end in React Native, including UI, native modules when needed, and the API layer that connects to backend services. - Manage the full release process for the App Store and Google Play, including updates and ongoing maintenance. - Diagnose and resolve platform-specific bugs across both iOS and Android. - Monitor and maintain performance, offline behaviour, and app size as features accumulate. - Demo progress to clients each week and act on their feedback.

Requirements - At least five years of experience building and shipping production React Native applications. - A demonstrated track record of taking at least one app through a complete App Store and Play Store release cycle, including subsequent updates. - Strong TypeScript skills, comfort with native modules, and experience integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs. - Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in writing.

Nice to have - Experience with Expo, push notifications, or in-app purchases. - Some native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) experience.
