Product Manager (Software Services)

Role overview

Responsibilities

- Interpret ambiguous client briefs and translate them into well-scoped product direction, priorities, and outcomes - Define what should be built, including scope, acceptance expectations, and trade-offs, before and during delivery - Partner with engineering and design to keep shipped work aligned with the agreed definition of done - Guard the team against scope drift by reinforcing the original brief and pushing back on changes that need re-scoping - Communicate decisions, rationale, and progress to clients in clear, plain language - Step in on delivery discipline when needed, including sequencing, unblocking, and protecting focus

Requirements

- Experience as a Product Manager on client-facing software services or build engagements - Comfort working from ambiguous inputs and producing concrete scope without a fully formed spec - Ability to balance product strategy with practical delivery oversight - Strong written and verbal communication, including direct client interaction - Track record of keeping builds aligned to an agreed definition under changing constraints
