Job details
About this role
Role overview
Build and operate physical and hybrid infrastructure, from GPU servers and storage to secure installations at client sites. You’ll help expand a fleet spanning colocated racks, cloud capacity, and restricted or air-gapped environments, with responsibility for hardware lifecycle, security, automation, and reliable operations.
Responsibilities
- Select components, assemble, burn in, and deploy GPU compute, storage, and networking platforms. - Operate colocation and on-prem systems, including provisioning, firmware and BIOS updates, out-of-band access, capacity planning, and hardware lifecycle. - Set up restricted-network or air-gapped installations, applying disk encryption, key management, and physical and network hardening. - Run hybrid infrastructure across owned hardware and cloud, including networking, VPN meshes, and observability. - Automate provisioning and configuration with infrastructure-as-code, build images, and maintain operational runbooks. - Take part in an on-call rotation for client-critical infrastructure.
Requirements
- At least six years operating physical infrastructure, including hands-on server assembly and datacenter troubleshooting. - Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals, including VLANs, firewalls, and basic BGP. - Experience securing restricted or regulated environments, including encryption at rest and compliance-driven hardening. - Fluency with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management, plus Python or shell scripting.
Nice to have
- GPU cluster operations experience, including drivers, CUDA, thermal management, and power planning.
