Senior Technical Content Engineer

Role overview

Create technical content and demonstrations that show how computer-aided design and product data tools solve real engineering problems. The role blends hands-on CAD work with presentations, video, writing, and customer-facing collaboration to explain technical capabilities in terms that matter to engineers and business audiences.

Responsibilities - Deliver live software demonstrations and presentations at events, customer sites, webinars, and user meetups; support sales conversations with prospective customers. - Build CAD models, scenarios, and stories for demonstrations, tutorials, feature videos, and product update videos. - Write technical and promotional materials such as blog posts, feature pages, and competitive comparisons. - Explain product capabilities as business outcomes, including the value of integrations with related product lifecycle management tools. - Coordinate with marketing, sales, technical services, and product development on launches, campaigns, and events. - Share customer feedback with product teams and help inform future improvements.

Requirements - At least five years of hands-on experience with professional CAD software; experience with Onshape or SolidWorks is preferred, while other major CAD platforms are considered. - Experience with product data management or product lifecycle management tools. - Demonstrated ability to present and run software demonstrations for technical and executive audiences, both in person and online. - Strong writing skills and the ability to translate technical features into clear business value. - Comfort appearing in video content and interest in learning video editing. - Genuine interest in CAD, design, and explaining technical concepts to others.

Nice to have

An engineering degree or equivalent industry experience; video editing experience; background in applications engineering, technical sales, or training; familiarity with product lifecycle tools; or experience with APIs and scripting.
