Principal Project Manager

Role overview Lead several customer-facing software implementation projects for organizations in manufacturing-related industries. You will guide multidisciplinary consulting teams through engagements involving complex business processes, coordinating with customers and internal groups to define scope, align resources, manage dependencies, and deliver agreed outcomes.

Responsibilities - Manage multiple projects from planning through delivery, keeping work aligned with scope, quality expectations, timelines, and intended value. - Coordinate internal specialists and external vendors to support project execution. - Build and maintain detailed project plans, track progress, and communicate status to customer and internal stakeholders. - Identify delivery risks, plan mitigations, and handle escalations and project issues. - Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate review and change-control practices. - Work with consulting, customer success, product development, workforce planning, and technical support teams to clarify requirements and dependencies.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree. - At least eight years of customer-facing project management experience deploying or configuring software for manufacturing industries. - Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and reporting to internal and external stakeholders. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, escalation management, and written and verbal communication skills. - Working knowledge of project management methods and tools, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall approaches. - Must be a U.S. citizen and authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have - PMP certification. - Experience implementing product lifecycle management (PLM) or application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions. - Skills in budget planning and tracking, risk management, and Microsoft Office tools.
