Remote job
AI-Driven Software Event Tester
Job details
About this role
Role overview Build a testing system that turns AI-generated event scenarios into dependable, executable end-to-end tests. The role owns the full cycle—from scenario design and test execution to diagnosing failures and improving the framework—so coverage reflects complete event journeys over time, not only individual screens.
Responsibilities - Prompt, run, and maintain AI-generated simulations across web, progressive web, organizer, and native app experiences. - Maintain browser and mobile test suites, including page objects, fixtures, personas, setup flows, test data, traces, reports, and CI integration. - Model end-to-end event timelines, from organizer setup and ticket sales through payments, check-in, vendor transactions, refunds, reporting, and payouts. - Expand scenarios to cover different regions, time zones, currencies, languages, phone formats, addresses, and translated journeys. - Investigate test failures and distinguish product defects from stale selectors, fixture drift, missing data, or coverage gaps. - Improve prompts, fixtures, traces, and runbooks; propose test or framework updates when product behavior changes intentionally.
Requirements - Strong end-to-end testing experience with Playwright or a similar browser automation framework. - Strong TypeScript engineering skills and experience maintaining a test codebase. - Practical use of AI tools for test planning, generated data, debugging, coverage exploration, or scenario expansion. - Clear written communication for failure reports, reproduction steps, scenario definitions, and pull request notes. - Ability to translate complex real-world event behavior into precise, reliable executable simulations.
