About this role
Role overview Senior engineering role focused on cloud infrastructure and DevOps practice for production web applications running on AWS. The position blends hands-on infrastructure-as-code work with experimentation in agentic AI and AI-powered observability, aimed at improving developer velocity and operational reliability across the SDLC.
Responsibilities - Architect and automate AWS infrastructure using Terraform, OpenTofu, Ansible, and CloudFormation for scalable, reliable workloads. - Design and continuously improve an agentic CI/CD pipeline aligned with shift-left delivery practices. - Evaluate and pilot generative AI services (for example, Bedrock, AgentCore, or Claude) for internal developer tooling. - Maintain AI agent skills and runbooks that support automated incident investigation and root-cause analysis. - Implement and tune monitoring, logging, and alerting following SRE principles, and explore AI-powered observability for anomaly detection and alert correlation. - Collaborate with development, product, and security teams on DevOps initiatives, perform code reviews, and contribute hands-on to complex or sensitive parts of the codebase.
Requirements - 5–7 years in web development, deployment, and support, including 3–5 years with AWS and DevOps. - Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible in multi-region or global architectures. - Familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling (such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) and AIOps concepts. - Comfort working with agentic AI primitives like MCP and tool use, including authoring prompts or agent skills. - Strong written and verbal communication, plus Agile/Scrum experience.
Nice to have - Exposure to AI-powered observability platforms such as Datadog, New Relic, or Dynatrace. - A computer science degree or equivalent practical experience.
