Software Engineer

Role overview Build production software that turns research and early concepts into practical capabilities for autonomous platforms. The work combines hands-on development and system design with performance tuning and integration across software, robotics, sensors, and other hardware.

Responsibilities - Develop and design production-grade software for autonomous systems. - Work with research and development colleagues to turn prototypes into reliable, high-performance code with clear goals and timelines. - Profile software and optimize critical paths for efficiency, portability, and scalability. - Integrate developer software with robotic platforms, sensors, and other hardware.

Requirements - Demonstrated proficiency in C++ and/or Python. - Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system-level programming. - Understanding of concurrency, synchronization, and memory management. - Experience debugging, profiling, and improving complex software systems. - U.S. citizenship and current residence in the United States are required.

Nice to have - Familiarity with autonomy, robotics, or performance-critical systems. - Experience applying machine learning to natural language processing or autonomous systems. - Background in embedded software or real-time applications.
