Role overview
Join a small senior engineering team building bespoke digital products for ambitious clients. You will own important architecture decisions, contribute production TypeScript that undergoes peer review, work directly with founders and product partners, and guide projects from initial design through launch.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product builds, covering architecture, implementation, delivery, and launch. - Pair closely with a technical lead and product partner throughout each engagement. - Establish a strong technical foundation and maintain a high quality bar for the codebase handed over to the client. - Make pragmatic architecture and implementation decisions that support the product’s long-term evolution. - Mentor one or two less-experienced engineers on each engagement. - Communicate technical choices clearly with clients, teammates, and product stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience shipping production software with TypeScript. - Deep hands-on experience with Next.js and React Server Components. - Strong PostgreSQL data-modelling skills, including patterns for multi-tenant applications. - Working comfort with infrastructure and deployment tooling such as Vercel, AWS, and Terraform fundamentals. - Clear written communication and the ability to challenge ideas constructively and productively.
