Role overview
Serve as a senior technical authority across multiple engagements, helping teams make sound architecture decisions and strengthening engineering practices. The role combines hands-on systems expertise, technical leadership, written guidance, mentoring, and participation in strategic conversations with prospective customers.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture reviews across active projects and help resolve complex technical decisions. - Develop practical engineering playbooks covering areas such as multi-tenancy, observability, and performance. - Mentor senior engineers and contribute to their technical growth and effectiveness. - Advise prospective customers on technical strategy and communicate architectural trade-offs clearly. - Move between engagements as needed to provide focused technical leadership.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience building and operating production systems. - Experience delivering a multi-tenant SaaS product at meaningful scale. - Clear, well-reasoned technical opinions combined with the flexibility to revise them when evidence changes. - Strong written communication skills. - Demonstrated success mentoring senior engineers.
