Role overview
Build and operate the environments, delivery pipelines, and operational practices that allow engineering teams to ship reliably. This role focuses on secure infrastructure, repeatable automation, meaningful quality controls, and observability that supports practical on-call work across multiple engagements.
Responsibilities
- Provision secure environments using an infrastructure-as-code-first approach. - Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines that make delivery repeatable and dependable. - Introduce quality gates that help teams identify issues before changes reach production. - Configure observability so teams can understand system health and investigate incidents. - Establish on-call practices that are clear, sustainable, and useful in real operating conditions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience operating production cloud environments. - Strong working knowledge of Terraform or Pulumi. - Solid Linux fundamentals, including system operation and troubleshooting. - Ability to design practical operational processes that engineering teams will adopt.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting several teams or projects with shared infrastructure and delivery practices. - Experience improving incident response through monitoring, alerting, and operational documentation.
