Senior Automation Developer (SDET)

Role overview Build automation for backend validation across a customer relationship management platform and its enterprise integrations. The work combines framework architecture and Python development with testing of data integrity, business rules, APIs and asynchronous workflows. Current Government of Canada security clearance is required.

Responsibilities - Design maintainable, scalable automation frameworks, applying suitable architecture and design patterns. - Develop Python libraries, API clients, validation tools and reusable automation components. - Build UI and API tests with Playwright and validate business rules and data across Dynamics 365 and Dataverse. - Query OData APIs and correlate records across related entities. - Test distributed integrations, including event-driven flows through Azure Service Bus. - Support integration testing for Azure Logic Apps and Power Automate, and connect automated runs, reports and CI/CD workflows to Azure DevOps.

Requirements - Current Government of Canada security clearance. - At least eight years of test automation development experience, including four or more years using Python. - At least two years working with Playwright. - Strong experience with Dynamics 365 or Dataverse, including backend data validation. - Proven ability to automate APIs and backend systems and build frameworks from the ground up. - Experience with Azure integrations such as Service Bus, Logic Apps or Power Automate.

Nice to have - Microsoft Power Platform certification.
