Role overview
Join the Identity team as a mid-level QA Engineer focused on backend services written primarily in Go. Identity services form the foundational user data layer for the platform, supporting critical processes like KYC, risk management, product flows, and customer communications. The role blends hands-on test automation with collaborative quality assurance across the entire user data lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, design test scenarios, and prepare test data for identity services - Build and maintain automated tests in Go and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines - Execute acceptance and regression testing with a strong bias toward automation - Detect, isolate, and report defects through the team's issue tracking system - Coordinate integration testing activities and participate in release cycles - Communicate closely with the product team during feature development
Requirements
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test suites in Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python - Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems - Working knowledge of SQL databases and message queues such as Kafka - Hands-on experience with backend test automation and CI/CD tooling - Ability to write and maintain test documentation - B1-level English or higher for collaboration with international teammates
Nice to have
- Familiarity with gRPC, Protobuf, or Go frameworks such as dailymotion/allure-go or gomega - Exposure to load testing approaches - Understanding of software design patterns and test framework development
