Role overview
This full-time, early-career software engineering role targets 2027 graduates and places them on teams working on backend, full stack, mobile, web, or security projects for a large consumer platform. New hires partner with mentors and cross-functional teammates to ship production code, build features, and learn how large-scale systems operate, with AI-assisted tools integrated into the daily workflow.
Responsibilities
- Deliver well-documented, tested, and operable code as part of scoped technical projects - Take ownership of the completion, quality, and maintainability of assigned tasks - Use AI tools to brainstorm, write, and refine code and documentation while validating outputs - Collaborate with teammates and cross-functional partners to build products, systems, and internal tools - Share ideas candidly and continue growing through feedback, learning, and development opportunities - Contribute to engineering work across backend, full stack, mobile, web, or security domains depending on team placement
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field, expected by June 2027 - Available to start full-time between January 2027 and September 2027 - At least one year of programming experience through internships, research, coursework, teaching, personal projects, open source, or hackathons - Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and software design - Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C++ - Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as React or comparable technologies - Comfort using AI as a learning, productivity, and engineering tool, with strong judgment around accuracy, security, and when to ask for help
Nice to have
- Previous software engineering internship experience - Strong communication skills and product sense - Comfort with ambiguity and a growth mindset
