Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a diverse analytics engineering team, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture. - Define and socialize best practices for instrumentation and experimentation across product engineering teams. - Prototype AI-assisted analysis pipelines and tools that surface insights at scale, while deepening understanding of underlying metrics and data structures. - Build self-service capabilities so data scientists, engineers, and adjacent teams can investigate datasets and metrics independently. - Drive documentation standards, data-quality strategy, and democratization of data across the organization. - Partner with product managers, designers, researchers, and engineers to translate insights into the next generation of product experiences.

Requirements - 6+ years working with data in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. - Fluency in SQL (or comparable database languages) plus a scripting language such as Python or R, with experience handling nested structures, windowing functions, query optimization, and partitioning. - Hands-on experience orchestrating ETL/ELT workflows and managing DAG-based data dependencies at scale. - Demonstrated ability to scope open-ended goals into defined, high-impact analytics deliverables. - Track record of using AI to accelerate work while rigorously verifying outputs through testing, source-checking, and peer review. - Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have - Background in automation, anomaly detection, or infrastructure and workflow optimization. - Experience building internal tooling that boosts engineering velocity.
