Role overview
A senior IT leader is needed to drive the performance and governance of outsourced service partners that power global workplace technology support. The role sits inside an IT Vendor & Asset Management function, owning the full vendor relationship lifecycle while partnering closely with project management, procurement, finance, legal, and security teams. It is both a hands-on operational role and a strategic position focused on metrics, cost optimization, and scaling service-delivery coverage.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day relationships with external deployment and support service providers, including SLA accountability and escalation resolution. - Design and run a metrics and reporting program that defines KPIs, surfaces trends, and supports regular business reviews with vendor leadership. - Apply AI-driven approaches to reporting, vendor analytics, and operational workflows to improve speed and decision quality. - Partner with IT project and program management colleagues supporting global deployment and vendor operations. - Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Security on contract management, invoicing accuracy, and compliance. - Support asset lifecycle and recovery programs, including accurate reporting and cost optimization, while identifying savings opportunities in hardware and vendor spend. - Help evaluate and onboard additional service-delivery capacity to extend global IT support coverage. - Contribute to budget planning and forecasting for vendor-delivered services. - Serve as backup Scrum Lead, with a growth path toward the primary Scrum Lead role.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT vendor management, managed service provider oversight, IT asset management, or a closely related field. - Demonstrated success managing outsourced service relationships at scale, including SLAs and governance frameworks. - Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience building KPI programs and translating data into actionable recommendations. - Track record of cross-functional partnership with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Security. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare executive-ready materials and influence without formal authority. - Practical experience embedding AI into daily workflows and measuring its impact. - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
