Software Engineer II, Fullstack

Role overview A full-stack product engineer is needed to help build the next generation of inspiration and discovery features on a large-scale consumer platform. Working closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers, the role spans the full product lifecycle—from ideation and rapid prototyping through A/B testing and scalable launch.

Responsibilities - Design and implement full-stack, user-facing features that power new discovery and inspiration experiences. - Contribute across the product lifecycle including brainstorming, rapid prototyping, A/B testing, and scalable rollout. - Partner with design, product, and backend teams to launch end-to-end solutions. - Bring a user-centered perspective to propose, prototype, and iterate on new product ideas and features. - Champion quality through automated testing and best practices, owning features from inception to release. - Use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate prototyping, outlining, synthesis, and repetitive tasks while critically verifying outputs.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of industry full-stack development experience building consumer or business-facing products. - Proficiency in one or more common backend and frontend stacks such as JavaScript, React, APIs, storage, caching, and data processing. - Demonstrated ability to write reliable, maintainable code used by many other engineers. - Comfort keeping up with emerging technologies and evaluating which should be incorporated. - Strong collaboration and communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in day-to-day work, with strong critical evaluation of AI-assisted outputs (testing, source-checking, validation, peer review). - High integrity and ownership, including care for sensitive data, avoidance of over-reliance on AI, and accountability for final decisions.

Benefits and work setup - Flexible working model with in-person collaboration expected 1–2 times every six months; role can be situated anywhere in the country and is not eligible for relocation assistance. Base salary range $123,696–$254,667 USD plus equity, with final compensation based on location, experience, and skills.
