About this role
Role overview Lead the technical execution and delivery of a federal Identity and Access Management (IAM) modernization initiative, guiding the transition from two legacy systems into a single cloud-based IAM solution. The role combines Agile delivery leadership with hands-on technical coordination across environments, releases, and operations.
Responsibilities - Coordinate deliverables, reporting, and stakeholder communication alongside the product owner, supporting consolidation of legacy systems into one modern solution. - Drive Agile processes by collaborating on planning, shaping requirements, defining sprint scope, and managing work with lean, flexible, continuously improving practices. - Help define user stories and tasks, ensure work meets the Definition of Done, and package completed features for deployment. - Provide ongoing technical and project management support through cutover and steady-state operations. - Lead hour-by-hour operational planning, environment support coordination, change and release management, and end-to-end technical execution of the IAM program.
Requirements - Three years of project management experience leading technical IT projects and a bachelor's degree. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and ability to manage deliverables, schedules, and cross-functional teams. - Experience with system modernization or consolidation efforts, including backlog and Definition of Done discipline. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on technical coordination, plus team leadership in an Agile delivery setting. - Eligibility for a minimum background investigation public trust clearance.
