About this role
Role overview This is an AI Engineering Internship on a team building identity-verification and deepfake-detection technology that secures billions of voice, video, and digital interactions each year. The intern focuses on applying generative AI to internal engineering workflows, prototyping AI agents and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems with senior engineers. The role is remote.
Responsibilities - Explore and build proof-of-concept AI agents that automate internal engineering workflows such as incident analysis or code-review summaries - Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines that power chat-with-your-data capabilities over internal technical documentation and runbooks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to spot operational bottlenecks and ship AI-driven improvements - Test and document emerging AI-assisted coding and monitoring tools and assess their viability for the broader engineering organization - Practice security-conscious engineering, including careful data hygiene and secrets management in any automated workflows
Requirements - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related technical field - Working knowledge of Python for automation and data processing - Demonstrated interest or project experience in AI/ML, particularly with large language models and prompt engineering - Comfort with Git workflows and collaborative code review
Nice to have - Hands-on experience building small ML pipelines or experimenting with vector databases and RAG frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Auto-GPT) - Foundational exposure to AWS or GCP services such as Lambda, S3, or SageMaker - Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and infrastructure-as-code tools such as GitHub Actions or Docker
