About this role

Role overview Own product outcomes for industrial monitoring solutions, from discovering customer needs through launch and ongoing improvement. The work combines roadmap decisions, prototyping, regulatory awareness, and close delivery partnership to support environmental compliance and workplace safety applications.

Responsibilities - Set product priorities and shape the roadmap, balancing near-term customer needs and compliance deadlines with longer-term platform investments. - Turn research and market needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; create prototypes to test ideas early. - Interview customers, synthesize field information, and track relevant environmental and occupational safety rules and emerging monitoring approaches. - Lead product work through Agile planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives; resolve trade-offs and delivery blockers with engineering, research, data, quality, and field teams. - Coordinate product positioning, launch plans, sales materials, competitive research, and technical discussions with prospective customers. - Define success measures, review post-launch performance, and use customer feedback and data to guide iteration.

Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, chemistry, physics, computer science, or a related technical discipline. - Three to five years of product management or equivalent direct product ownership experience. - Strong ability to write actionable requirements and build prototypes that connect discovery to delivery. - Experience applying AI tools, language models, or automation to practical product problems. - Experience as a product owner in Agile or Scrum development; familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar tools. - Clear written and verbal communication skills, ability to influence teams without direct authority, and willingness to travel about 20%.

Nice to have Evidence of independently building and shipping products or features; familiarity with environmental monitoring regulations or occupational safety frameworks; background in environmental science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or industrial operations; and experience with emissions, air quality, or gas measurement. SaaS or analytics products, product analytics tools, and startup experience are also valued.
