Director, Product Infrastructure & Cloud

Role overview

A national technology workforce nonprofit is hiring a senior product leader to own its Infrastructure Technology curriculum portfolio end-to-end. The role blends product management, technical subject-matter expertise, and curriculum design to translate employer demand and industry standards into scalable, credential-aligned learning products. It is a remote, full-time position with roughly 25% travel, reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management.

Responsibilities

- Own and maintain the multi-year roadmap for the Infrastructure Technology portfolio, making explicit prioritization tradeoffs across market-driven, customized, and alumni offerings - Run the full product lifecycle: opportunity intake, discovery, evaluation, build decisions, launch, adoption, performance improvement, and strategic sunsetting - Serve as the primary curriculum strategy lead in partner and funder discovery, converting infrastructure requirements into learning objectives, assessments, hands-on labs, and design intent - Set and uphold curriculum product standards covering quality, accessibility, safety alignment, assessment rigor, and credential alignment - Establish a disciplined operating rhythm with discovery-to-delivery planning, milestone tracking, and monthly portfolio reviews tied to outcomes and capacity - Lead cross-functional teams through design, build, launch, and continuous improvement cycles

Requirements

- Hands-on infrastructure technology background spanning data center operations, low voltage systems, critical facilities, facilities controls, and building automation - Familiarity with DCIM platforms, Critical Monitoring Systems, and electrical/HVAC-adjacent environments - Demonstrated ability to translate occupational requirements into competency maps, hands-on labs, safety-aligned scenarios, and measurable performance assessments - Experience developing or evaluating technical training content, labs, simulations, job aids, and performance-based assessments for infrastructure occupations - Product design discipline, including backlog management, clear requirements writing, stakeholder alignment, and execution from discovery through launch - Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, or NFPA-related safety practices and workforce development or scaled multi-site training delivery

- Active technical portfolio of real-world infrastructure projects, diagrams, monitoring scenarios, or lab designs that can be discussed in interviews - Executive communication strength, with the ability to synthesize technical complexity into clear tradeoffs, risks, and measurable outcomes
