1099 Visual Designers

Role overview

This contract engagement places experienced visual designers inside a creative team that builds learning programs for Life Sciences clients. You will develop concepts, themes, and assets that support training and performance initiatives, while serving as a design lead on complex engagements when needed. The work is virtual and paid on a 1099 or corp-to-corp basis as project work becomes available.

Responsibilities

- Create media and visual assets in support of learning programs for client engagements - Consult with clients and internal team members on visual strategy and creative direction - Function as the subject-matter expert on creative assets within project work-streams - Lead design efforts on complex initiatives as the assigned design lead - Collaborate with cross-functional team members to align creative output with project goals

Requirements

- A professional degree in a relevant field - At least four years of experience as a Visual Designer, Graphic Designer, or User Interface Designer - Strong proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; candidates must own their own license - A professional portfolio featuring work samples for mid to large corporations - Portfolio examples including animation, vector illustrations, infographics, and interactive design pieces

- Experience providing graphic design support for learning or training initiatives - Background working in the Life Sciences industry
