Role overview
Own the reference architecture for how secure, scalable cloud and Kubernetes platforms are designed, built, and ultimately handed off to clients. The role sets the standards and patterns that downstream teams follow when delivering platform infrastructure for enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve the reference architecture for client-facing cloud and Kubernetes platforms - Lead the design and build of secure, scalable infrastructure tailored to enterprise needs - Oversee smooth handoff of platforms to client engineering and operations teams - Establish security, reliability, and operability best practices across engagements - Guide engineers working on platform delivery and review significant architectural decisions
Requirements
- Deep production experience with major cloud platforms and Kubernetes - Track record designing secure and scalable infrastructure for enterprise contexts - Demonstrated ability to own and evolve a reference architecture used by other teams - Familiarity with handoff, enablement, and operationalization in customer environments - Strong systems engineering background with an emphasis on security and reliability
