Role overview A health insurance company is hiring Staff Product Managers within its Network Pillar, with openings spanning the end-to-end provider experience and the technology that builds high-performing provider networks. The role sets product strategy, drives cross-functional execution, and partners closely with engineering, design, network, and operations leaders. The position is hybrid, based in Los Angeles with three in-office days each week.
Responsibilities - Drive execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives that improve operational efficiency and hit key business objectives. - Partner with Product, Design, Engineering, Network, and Operations leaders to define strategy, roadmap, and resource trade-offs. - Provide recommendations to leadership on enhancements to existing products and the development of new ones. - Develop operating models for new products in collaboration with leadership. - For the Provider Experience track, own the strategy for onboarding, credentialing, authorizations, disputes, accounts receivable, and servicing journeys that reduce friction for providers. - For the Network Growth and Performance track, translate network strategies into scalable capabilities for planning, prospecting, contracting, and performance visibility.
Requirements - Seven or more years of product management experience. - Five or more years driving rigorous prioritization processes. - Five or more years working with technology systems, including backend services and SQL. - Three or more years leading complex, cross-domain initiatives from ambiguity to shipped outcome. - Proven ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels through strong communication and structured thinking. - Track record of using data to identify opportunities, test theories, and evaluate success.
Nice to have - Provider Experience candidates: background in provider-facing healthcare products, payer-provider operations, credentialing, prior authorization, or provider servicing. - Network Growth and Performance candidates: experience with health-plan network development, provider contracting, value-based or narrow network strategies, or medical-loss-ratio drivers.
Benefits and work setup - Base pay between $180,504 and $236,911, with eligibility for benefits, equity grants, an unlimited vacation program, and annual performance bonuses.
