Networking & Backend Systems (Intern)

Role overview Help make a real-time voice AI platform faster and more dependable across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployments. You will work across backend services and networking, improving latency and reliability in systems that support live audio interactions.

Responsibilities - Profile the voice-agent pipeline and identify opportunities to reduce latency. - Deliver backend improvements used in production. - Build monitoring for audio and networking components. - Contribute to telephony and WebRTC integrations. - Debug issues that span application services and infrastructure.

Requirements - Understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP. - Interest or experience in real-time systems and low-latency audio. - Comfort investigating problems at the infrastructure level. - Backend development experience; Python, Node.js, or Rust are relevant examples.

Nice to have - Familiarity with WebRTC, SIP, VoIP, or network security.
