.NET Developer - Remote (Only Mexico)

Role overview

Join a global delivery team as a remote .NET Developer building scalable, cloud-native microservices for large-scale workloads. The role centers on engineering distributed systems on AWS using modern container orchestration, with strong emphasis on performance, security, and clean architecture. Candidates must reside in Mexico and demonstrate advanced English proficiency to collaborate with international stakeholders.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain production-grade .NET and C# applications optimized for scalability and maintainability. - Architect microservices with inter-service communication via message queues (such as AWS SQS or RabbitMQ) and well-defined APIs. - Deploy and orchestrate containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes across cloud environments. - Model and tune PostgreSQL data layers using Entity Framework and advanced SQL techniques for efficient, high-throughput queries. - Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and present architectural designs grounded in real-world tradeoffs. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and partner with QA, DevOps, product owners, and architects to ship quality software.

Requirements

- 7-10 years of professional experience in software engineering. - Strong hands-on proficiency with .NET Framework, C#, and Entity Framework. - Practical experience designing and running microservices in production. - Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration. - Solid grasp of design patterns applied in real codebases, plus Git workflows and code review practices. - PostgreSQL query optimization and performance tuning skills. - Familiarity with AWS services such as SQS, Lambdas, ECS/EKS, and RDS.

Nice to have

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline automation and infrastructure-as-code. - Exposure to application security standards and secure coding practices. - Comfort troubleshooting production incidents and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
