Senior Software Engineer

Role overview Help develop a data integration platform and its open source schema language, working across the stack from language design and compilation to query execution. Responsibilities - Build and improve platform components across the language, compiler, query engine and surrounding product. - Develop the schema language and tools that support semantic layers for enterprise data. - Help deliver integrations that are deterministic, auditable, observable and able to recover from change. - Contribute to improvements in a product used in banking and financial settings. - Share technical learning through writing, talks or open source work where relevant.

Requirements - Strong software engineering experience and willingness to work across the full stack. - Comfort working on problems whose solutions and requirements are not fully defined in advance. - Ability to work remotely within UK-friendly time zones.

Nice to have - Experience with event streaming tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, or with Angular and TypeScript. - Knowledge of Kotlin/JVM, compilers, language tooling or query engines. - Familiarity with Spring AI, LLM-based agents, financial services or enterprise integration. - Public technical writing, conference talks or open source contributions.
