About this role
Role overview This is a hands-on Director of Product Management role owning a trust-critical enterprise cloud platform end to end. The position blends business ownership (packaging, pricing, unit economics, and go-to-market) with platform accountability (availability, performance, compliance, and cost), and the director acts as a general manager for a cloud-native file verification service delivered as an API. The product also serves as the shared platform foundation that several other cloud services are built on.
Responsibilities - Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a high-availability, multi-tenant cloud service, treating the line as a full P&L business - Own tier packaging, pricing, and metering from self-serve developer entry through regulated enterprise contracts - Lead product-led growth motions including self-serve onboarding, API-first developer offerings, and presence in major cloud marketplaces - Direct a platform consumed by multiple other services, balancing shared infrastructure reuse with the speed and autonomy of each consumer team - Oversee reliability as a product, including availability targets, failover, multi-region resilience, and compliance certifications - Manage unit economics, cost-per-verdict discipline, and growth through technology partners, channel, and reseller programs
Requirements - 5+ years of product management experience on cloud or SaaS products, ideally in cybersecurity or another trust-critical enterprise service - Track record running a high-availability, multi-tenant cloud service, with hands-on work on SLAs, SLOs, recovery objectives, failover, and multi-region architecture - Experience guiding a cloud product through certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, or PCI DSS, including data-privacy and data-residency posture for regulated buyers - Business-owner fluency in packaging, pricing models, metering, unit economics, NDR, GDR, and recurring-revenue metrics - People leadership experience with product managers, plus the credibility to work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineering on APIs and cloud architecture - Strong analytical, data-driven decision-making and outstanding cross-functional and executive communication
Nice to have - Experience growing a product through cloud marketplaces, channel, or reseller partners, or building that motion from scratch - Platform product thinking for shared services consumed by multiple product teams - Product-led growth background with developer-facing offerings and conversion into enterprise contracts - Persona-driven product work for developer, security, and regulated enterprise buyers - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field; MBA is a plus; familiarity with Agile methodologies
