Senior Software Engineer (R14285)

Responsibilities - Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable platform services and shared libraries - Contribute to platform and system architecture decisions focused on reliability, scalability, and developer experience - Collaborate with staff engineers to implement standards and patterns supporting continuous delivery - Identify and address performance, scalability, and reliability issues across platform services - Drive operational excellence through monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices - Investigate root causes of production issues and ship long-term fixes that reduce on-call burden - Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance - Look for practical ways to use AI tools to reduce manual work and improve decision-making

Requirements - Seven to eight years of related software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree, or a master's degree with equivalent experience - Strong backend systems experience with proficiency in Java, C#, C++, or similar languages, plus solid data structures and algorithms knowledge - Three or more years designing, building, deploying, and maintaining container-based applications - Four or more years working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure - Experience with continuous delivery practices and automated deployment pipelines - Working knowledge of secure development practices in distributed systems

Nice to have - Experience in financial services or fintech - Familiarity with shared platforms, distributed systems, or developer productivity practices - Hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Copilot to improve productivity
