Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering - Hands-on professional experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production or similarly complex environments - Professional experience developing software in Go - Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, ideally including Cluster API and RKE2 - Experience collaborating on software projects, preferably in an open-source context - Engineering mindset focused on reliable, maintainable, production-ready solutions rather than one-off implementations
Nice to have
- Experience with AI workloads running on Kubernetes - Curiosity and adaptability to work across Kubernetes, virtualization, networking, storage, and observability
Benefits and work setup
- Competitive compensation with flexible remuneration options covering meals, transport, and childcare - Customized workstation with macOS, Windows, or any Linux distribution - Private health insurance - Six-hour workday on Fridays and every day during August - Paid time off including holidays, personal time, sick leave, and parental leave - Fully remote company with offices in Madrid, Boston, and Brno - Flexible hiring: full-time or part-time, employee (Spain/USA) or contractor (other locations) - Engineering-first culture that values openness, collaboration, risk-taking, and continuous learning of new technologies as part of everyday duties
