Sr. Software Engineer (C# .NET)

Role overview Build and improve scalable, cloud-native APIs and core software components as part of an enterprise technology team. You’ll contribute across application development, architecture, testing, telemetry, and performance tuning, while working with colleagues across technology stacks. The position is remote in North America, with Eastern Time preferred.

Responsibilities - Develop and maintain scalable APIs and high-value core system components. - Improve existing software offerings through ongoing development and performance work. - Lead technical discussions about architecture and testing while protecting product quality and performance. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams using multiple technology stacks. - Apply telemetry and application performance monitoring to understand and improve production behavior. - Support engineering quality through code reviews and strong unit and functional test coverage.

Requirements - At least 5 years of experience building scalable, cloud-native APIs with .NET. - Degree or advanced diploma in software engineering, preferably computer science, or equivalent experience. - Experience with telemetry and performance tuning using modern application monitoring tools. - Strong understanding of application development and testing methods. - Careful engineering practices, including attention to detail and a willingness to support colleagues through reviews and technical guidance.

Nice to have - Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, or OpenTelemetry. - Experience building cloud-native APIs with Java or working with Azure cloud services.
