Product Engineer

Role overview

A remote, full-time engineering position focused on building the core platform and product surface of an AI interaction platform that helps businesses create brand-aligned, human-centered conversational experiences at scale. Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain core product features and services with attention to scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability. - Develop intuitive, performant front-end experiences alongside back-end services and APIs. - Optimize back-end systems, APIs, and data flows for speed, efficiency, and adaptability. - Partner closely with product and design to translate ambitious ideas into polished, production-ready features. - Choose appropriate tools for each problem; raise code quality through peer review, testing, and refactoring. - Track emerging tools and practices, applying them where they meaningfully improve the product.

Requirements

- A track record of shipping high-quality product work, with depth of impact prioritized over years of experience. - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and React, with willingness to adopt other tools when appropriate. - Experience designing scalable front-end interfaces and back-end APIs. - Comfort moving fast without sacrificing engineering rigor, including testing, review, and refactoring discipline. - Ability to collaborate with founders, designers, and product partners in a high-standards environment.
