Director, Growth Engineering

Role overview Lead the Growth Engineering organization, partnering closely with growth product to drive user acquisition, activation, and conversion across iOS, Android, and web environments. This director-level role combines multi-year strategic planning with hands-on technical leadership, scaling a growth platform that protects annual recurring revenue and long-term user lifetime value.

Responsibilities - Define and evolve a multi-year growth engineering strategy aligned with corporate goals such as new-market entry and feature expansion. - Oversee architecture for highly available, secure growth foundations and drive personalization systems across web and mobile. - Champion experimentation culture by investing in A/B testing infrastructure and rapid funnel optimization. - Collaborate with marketing and user acquisition teams to evolve the marketing technology stack and align engineering deliverables with campaign goals. - Lead and develop engineering managers and software engineers spanning backend, mobile, and web, including hiring, performance reviews, and career progression. - Partner with data engineering and business intelligence to improve event instrumentation, data warehousing, and funnel reporting.

Requirements - 4+ years of technical leadership experience directing growth engineering teams across mobile and web platforms. - Demonstrated success building technical solutions at the intersection of marketing, product, and engineering. - Track record instituting sound software development lifecycle practices, including testing, code review, incident response, and observability in a high-velocity environment. - Experience mentoring senior technical leaders and refining engineering career ladders. - Ability to bridge growth data with data engineering and BI teams to support accurate downstream measurement and analysis.
